Modern Slavery 2022/2023
is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015


Introduction


Modern Slavery encompasses slavery, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s freedom by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. Modern Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.

Maxim World* has implemented a policy for the prevention, detection and reporting of Modern Slavery in all aspects of its business and supply chains after realising that every area of business has the potential to be impacted by this issue.

Our Approach


Maxim World is committed to ensuring that there is no Modern Stavery in our supply chains or any part of our business. We are acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We have introduced an anti-slavery policy that advocates a zero-tolerance approach to Modern Slavery and includes reporting systems, protections for whistle-blowers and sanctions for non-compliance. By initiating and actively enforcing this policy with regard to our employees at all levels, directors, officers, volunteers, interns, agents, contractors, service providers, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and

What we consider next


IIn the year ahead, Maxim World is committed to further improving its practices and introducing new processes to combat Modern Slavery. We are fully aware that we cannot unilaterally solve this problem, but we are committed to doing our part.
